Kanaloa Labs is a small family-owned breeder of English Labrador Retrievers located in Miami, Florida. We have been raising and training labs for the past 15+ years, and started our breeding program in 2017. We currently have 2 females (2 yellows) and 1 yellow male. All of our pups are genetically tested for over 200 genetic disorders/traits and examined by OFA for their hips, elbows, and eyes to help ensure they meet AKC pure bred standards for all our puppies and for the betterment of their health.
We treat our labs like members of our family. They are well taken care of by receiving the best healthcare, a healthy diet geared for the betterment of the breed, and lots of play time both in and out of the water, friends, and family. Our pups love the water, whether it be in the ocean, pool, or hanging out on the boat. Simply put, they are raised with aloha.

Bringing a new puppy into your home is a big and important decision that requires a lifetime commitment. The decision also works both ways, where the puppy may be better suited for certain environments than others (e.g., active puppy with active family; 'chill' puppy with more low-key individual). For these reasons, we want to help ensure the 'match' is as close to perfect as possible (within reason). Personality characteristics of all puppies will be described in the "puppies" weblink on this website; just know that every puppy will grow and adapt to you and their new environment, and their personality will evolve with you / their new family over time.
Mochi x Parker Litter - Puppies will be ready to go home Sept 27, 2024.
This is Mochi's first litter. Colors range from white to cream yellow. We are accepting applications for this litter now. The price for a puppy is $2300.
Please send us an email to Kanaloalabs@gmail.com to request an application or to be put on our listserv about litter announcements. We will reply with an application for you to complete. Once we receive your application, we will contact you to set up a "meet n' greet" by phone, FaceTime or Zoom to get to know you better and what you're looking for in a puppy / pet companion.
If at that point, all looks good and the timing works for you to accept a new puppy to care for, then we will ask you to submit a refundable, electronic deposit of $500*** within 24 hours. Puppies go home with their new owners - as limited AKC registration only - at 8 weeks of age.
In sum -
1) Send us an email (kanaloalabs@gmail.com) to ask for an application;
2) Complete the application and email it back to us;
3) We have an online "meet n' great";
4) You electronically send us a refundable deposit of $500*** to secure which puppy you want along with a completed contract;
5) Puppies and their new owner(s) start their new life together at week 8!
***The refundable deposit period is good for up to 1 week. Meaning, you have 7 days to change your mind and ask for a full refund of the $500 (sans any transaction fees).
